Wow!

I’ve just got back from the latest Mums Business Club meeting at The Roomz in St Leonards, and I have to say it was the best meeting ever. Read on to find out what happened and how to take part next week:

 The venue was fab – thank you Caz – and is ideal if you want somewhere family friendly to go in St Leonards OR to use their recording studio. With coverage for the group going out on Arrow FM this morning as well as on the Observer website perhaps it isn’t surprising that we had lots of lovely new members attending.  See who was there and who’s joined on our members’ page.

We had lots to celebrate too, with news from Sally of Lime Magazine about the sponsorship she has from Ford and positive feedback from the first Sussex Baby and Toddler Show in Hastings last month. And, although I forgot to mention this in the meeting, we have arranged sponsorship for the group by McPhersons Chartered Accountants, which will help us cover website costs and get some promotional materials for the group. The more mums who know about the group, the more useful it can become as we swap referrals and do business with each other.

I mentioned the BusinessMums conference in Brighton on 10^th October.
